put a palomar 250 with the 29 ,,,turned down the watts to the radio 1.5 ,,,is this all i need to do to run safely thanks Timmy

You could turn up your DK another .5 watt if you wish.

What are your swr's?

You don't need to go down that low....3 to 4 watts is ok as well....If you get to low , It may not key all the time....

Go one watt higher than is required to key the linear. Most of those little Palomars will key with at least a 1/4 to 1/2 watt input to them.
