Hello, I have a Silver Eagle 200 amp, and was wondering if this amp can be bumped up to arround 500watts? If so does anyone have any tech info, or maybe can lead me in the right direction to getting some info. The reason I want to do this is because I dont have the cash flow to buy a bigger amp, and thought if I can mod this one it would be cheaper. Thanks for reading.

Suicide Jockey:It's very doubtful that you will get 200 watts from the Silver Eagle much less 500.

Mountain Man: Just about all amps will heat up if you ratchet jaw on them.I run computer cooling fans on all of my amps including my General Grant radio because I am long winded and on occasion will ratchet jaw .The smaller fans are very quiet and you can use 12 volt model or 115 volt model.
