Does any one know the mod to make the Palomar 250 Gold operate on 11 meters if there is one or does it from the factory?
also what would the power input need to be for this amp and what is the power output on am/ssb

i have the palomar 250 gold hook it up and go

i put 2.5 watts into it from my 148 on AM and it puts out 150-175 and i put 12 watts on SSB and i get the same 150-175

mine will dead key 40 and swing to 350 but modulates 250

jeff , you already got youre info, but i wanted to say that i run a palomar250 gold,galaxy dx-55v,d-104 m6b,and a wilson 5000 in my truck and on med pwr just about every morning i talk to a friend in florida from my mobil in central n.y. (utica/about 50 miles east of syracuse n.y.) and i make it to him loud and clear.
