Got a good used realistic trc - 495 40 channel AM base with hand mic...modulation is kind of low ( may be the mike ) ...need tune - up & modulation mods if any one knows...thanks you in advance...kd4amg

Modulation ~ Adjust RV2
AM Power ~ Adjust L6, L7, L14

Hey Lon:How are you.I have the some problem with my trc-30 (realistic)23 channel,would these mod's work on this unit also?

Mrgoody,if you will look to the left side of the screen and down to the tools area you will see modification list and click on it and you will be surprised of the info Copper has for us there.it will answer your question.this is about the only forum that has this vast amount of info on this type of radio
