Does anyone have a service manuual for this radio? If so I would like the information on the test points, and freq. for the u.s.b, l.s.b, and a.m. cans, these are L??. I don't have the numbers handy but they are something like L21,22,23,24,25,26. Thanks.

Your coarse tune is already unlocked. Best to have both options as you do now.

I would also appreciate the euro 3900 info. I find the dual controls a pain to use. The detent on the coarse control in particular.

Slowhand, You can fix that detent in the coarse control. Open the bottom cover and remove the fine/coarse knob. (No need to unsolder the wires)Gently fold back the metal tabs that hold it together and slide it apart. Take the metal washer part that has the detent in it and use pliers and crimp it down flat. Reassemble. It took almost as long to type this as doing the actual work. My 148gtl was a pain to get on freq because center on freq was on the edge of the detent and would slide off the notch. I HATE THOSE FINE/COARSE KNOBS!!!! But this little tweak is great if you hate the center notch. :-)

Nothing more than the channel mod and the "power" mod. The one page I thought I'd found, when I clicked on the link, the page wasn't found.
But I can't resist the challenge of searching for the answer to someones question.
