I had this radio peaked and tuned from the company I bought it from (Copper). It works awesome!
My question is: If I adjusted the RF Output down to 4 watts deadkey will I be allright to use this radio with this amp (KLV-250 Base)? Or will I have to adjust the RF Output pot to a lower AM deadkey??
The KLV-250 amp specs says:
Input Power: 1-4W
Input Power SSB: 2-20w
As it stands, I can adjust the AM deadkey down to 4 watts using the RF knob on the front of the radio.
Your input and advice is greatly appreciated.

you need to set your low power setting to 2w or slightly less.
