Hello everybody, i'm new here.

I was wondering if this radio can receive in FM mode, also is there any way i can reset the memory completely without opening the unit up and removing the battery.

ANY AM radio can RECEIVE FM just slope detect by tunning off to the side

CORRECT

IF YOU PUT THE FM SIGNAL ON THE UP OR DOWN SIDE OF THE IF SLOPE AKA OFF TUNED YOU WILL HEAR NARROW BAND FM. If you dont beleve me try it.
IF you tune a fm signal in on a am radio the fm audio will drop to almost nothing.

It works because the FM signal is devating away from the point your tuned to and its voltage changes as it moves up and down the if slope.... and as far as the radio sees a changing voltage is a AM signal ........

hmmmmmm i might try it on an old radio i have around here, don't wanna muck up my halfway decent one. thanks for the input bruce.
