i have a president jfk.the variable key in it doesnt rop very far.what mods can be done to get it to key around one watt with good swing ???

thanks for the info,i already have tried that place(great site 'cept for the bad popup).i still cant get the radio to deadkey any lower than 3 watts.and plus,when the variable is turned down that low,i lose all swing.it does about 3 swinging 5.5 to 6 on a dosy with the variable all the way down.with the variable all the way up,it deadkeys about 6 and swing 15 watts.anybody know how to get it to key less and still swing?i've never had a jfk before and hope it can do better than it is doing.

Hello Mike, I too have a JFK. In fact I own two, one old pcb the other new pcb. Great radios but have the same problem,need more swing. If you come up with a solution please share it with me. I plan to try some ideas on my next days off. If they work will let you know. Regards, Charlie
