Does anyone know a mod for the echo in the 2990?
Im talking the infite slap back echo here. I had a galaxy DX 22B once that i had done up with the infinite echo and it sounded awesome!
Id like to do it to my 2990. |

If your rig has the EPTOSS50B echo board in it, endless echo can be achieved by adding a 3.3K resistor, paralel with R22 (39k). If you want to slow down the repeat, add a .0047uF capacitor between pins 5 & 6 of IC4 (MN3101). |

Hello again Inspector. I asked this also on CB tricks. I looked and my board is the newer SMT board Although the radio was made back in 1998.

Mine just has echo.. No robot board or anything. This SMT echo board has me stumped.. The last 2990 i had had the older modifiable echo board like that was used in the old 2527 and 22B..
