I was givin a silver bullet amp 200 watt moblie amp.You think 14 gauge wire is ok to run it with from the amp to the battery or do i need 12 or 10 gauge?for some reason ?thanks

ps. anyone know what years these amps were made?

for a couple bucks, go for the thicker wire, at least 10. overkill beats excessive heat/drawing too much thru thin stuff. i know it's rated for the amp draw, but my radios even go direct to battery w/10. use the same for ground wire, and go direct to battery. make sure alt, block, frame, chassis, etc are all well grounded to battery.
