I am very new at this and need a little help. i just purchased a radio and a kl60 as a package deal from a friend and he said that he was told that he had to convert the kl60 and has no idea how to do it. I have reda some of your forum notes and see that I need to set dead key on the radio. how is this done on a cobra 75xw st radio?

Hello Bowtorc.

I not know about your radio.

But the amp needs to have a wire hooked up for it to work.

Slide off the plastic bottom cover.Look at the two coax connectors on the back of the unit.If both connectors have a wire soldered to the center of them.If not solder the one on.
