Hello all, I picked up a TRC-448 and I did some power mod adjustments on it, good modulation.....I was wondering if there is a way to Unlock the clarifier and also If there is a way to put extra channels if not with the PLL conversion then the Expo kit......Any info would help......Thanks all

what pll chip does that radio have in it?

It should have the REC86345 in it.

REC86345
Models include:- Courier Blazer 40D/Renegade 40/Rogue 40/Nightrider 40DR/Ranger 40D, Fannon Fanfare 125F/182F/184F/185PLL/185DF/190F, Realistic TRC448


Uses simple 8 bit binary programming.

Easily modified by changing the loop mixing crystal.
