does anyone know how to make this amp to modulate better on the 27000 frq. because now it does better on the 26000 freqs.than any other freq. Or should I use it for a boat ancher?????

how does the RADIO modulate @ 27 vs 26? & what outputs are you getting with that amp at what freqs? where is antenna best tuned at? sounds more like issue is with radio then amp.

was talking to someone moments ago that has 1 that's seen better days. how is it modded to 11m? by way of a wire soldered across heavy coil? he said wire could be soldered across at wrong point effectively moving freq too far down.

I feel you may need to move the tap on L2 it may be off a little. What i'd do is go to a hobbie shop and pick up some brass stock sheet thin
kind and make a small clip that you can put a
screw and nut thu. then put a lug om the wire or
tap now you can tune it by moving up and down
that L2 coil in 1/4 in to start when you see
what your looking for then 1/8. When you find the
sweet spot just lock your screw down.
