Can anyone tell me if a 5khz switch is possible like on my CPI for a Uniden PC122XL with a 2816C PL?
I have the clarifier unlocked, but it's only about 1.6khz, which is the way I'd like to keep it with a 5khz switch. If not changing the clarifier circuit for 5 or 6khz movement would be ok.
The mod sites that I've been on only show about unlocking the clarifier.
Thanks,

If you look at the expo expander directions for this radio, it'll reference the Uniden 640e/810e instructions:

"The varactor diode (included in the kit can be used to replace D23 to make the clarifier tuning range wider."

Sorry, I don't have any other info than that.
