DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO ADJUST THE AM POWER AND THE MODULATION IN THIS RADIO. AND OR ANY OTHER TRICKS? ITS BRAND NEW AND I WANT TO RUN IT WITH MY AMP IN THE TRUCK. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

go to ask the tech>>radios base>>cobra 2000gtl modulation mods then scroll down to my post dated monday mar 21, 2005 at 10:43AM & you will find MOST of the mods available to grant xl, grant lt, cobra 148, texas ranger 296, cobra 2000 & all other radio shack, cherokee & any other clones of that radio. |

THANKS FOR THE INFO ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS LOOK A LITTLE HARDER. DID THE MODS AND IT WORKED GREAT. NOW KEYS 2 WATTS AND SWINGS TO 13. I USED THE MODS FOR THE GRANT XL
