Two problems. 1) The shortcomings of the large power supply and its regulator are widely acknowledged, but criticizing products that Copper sells is not my job. Sorry. 2) The main circuit-board is a surface-mount product, making modifications a lot like brain surgery. One false move and "POOF" or "whimper". For that reason, few mods have been worked out for it. Most of them are NOT the kind of Do-It-Yourself procedure that are so much easier on older printed-circuit boards. Don't know if it's the higher risk of damage to the board, or the fact that folks who work these out just don't want to share. Probably some of each would explain the thundering silence to your question. 73
