I found this on another site,

Remove D-18,R-110,C131 and R112.
Put jumper in R-110.
take orange wire from delta tune and unsolder it from the board and resolder it to TR-23 solder it to pin closest to front of the radio.
Put radio back together and it should slide about 5kc up/down.
For more slide to go on a channels!! Change D-16 to a 1N4007 diode
hope all ya`ll enjoy.

easy, fuse!
that mod is only to get the delta tune to slide on transmit. what would normally appear to make it slide transmit, will NOT work on standard AM radio. same with channel mods, other then xtal swap, expo kit is only way to get expanded freqs.
realign not neccessary for slide, expo kit...well i've done it by ear with a walkie talkie & got it just as close as freq counter, & rcv needs touchup only occasionally.
