installation instructions come with 'new' echoes, & they are fairly straightforward installs. go get yourself a USED xl/lt/148/296/sherman etc etc as CHEAP as you can find 1, as untouched as possible & open it up. experiment with everything that may possibly interest you-different types/brands of echoes, roger beep, 5 tone beep, noise toys & any kind of mod(freq, slide, xmit, rcv) that you can find. you'll learn what helps & what hurts the radio, what does & does NOT work together, & be able to play around with it. searching the internet was NOT an option when i started, EVERYTHING came by trial & error from 'i-heard-somebody-say-that-somebody-said...'. & i started with a 'practice' radio & learned from there. |
