Anyone have any mods or know where I can get some for this amp? It's just sitting in my "radio closet" collecting dust.

What mods are you talking about? The amp is designed for max power as it comes...

They are one in the same, depending on the driving radio the amp. does about 375-400 watts on the high range on sideband. A very close friend of mine has one about 4 months old, runs it on low and does very well with it.

I had the boomer 500 at one time too, it worked well with no mods, and the built in power supply was handy as well.
