I was told a cobra 148 f can go this high and low with a channel mod 24.265 - 29.665 MHz is this true?reason I ask is mine only has upper and only goes to 28.045.If there is a mod for this would you please post it.thanks!

148f-gtldx which is the same as a connex 4800dxl & rci6900f is an EXPORT & will do below 12 meters up through the top of 10 meters. a 148f-gtl is a LEGAL 40 channel CB that can be modded from 26.815-28.045, freebird, just as the regular 148gtl, grant XL, LT, et al. |

The cobra 148f~gtldx+ thats really the same radio as the connex 4800 isnt it?looks about the same to me and i notice it goes as low also. |

EXACTLY the same radio, & pretty much the same as the rci6900 |
