You should talk to Harley about that Ranger. Our local technician would be more than happy to help you.

i have the eagle VIII, its a seven tuber that uses 20lf6's.
two driving five.
there are some mods for that amp in the first few issues of Secret CB.
they were sold as CW amps, but were never intended for that purpose.
thats why there might be a few switches with nothing connected to them.
let me know if you find someone who knows these amps.
they can be made better than stock, but i dont know how.

if you're talking about the 200 above, kid-NOTHING, really! never saw one.

tube amps, as with transistor amps are all pretty much the same. it's just a difference in parts placement & layout, usually. sometimes they try changing parts values-for the better or the worse.

you could probably find another amp with the same tube complement & follow its schematic & get roughly the same thing.

thanks pat, i was referring to my amp the eagle viii, but they are about the same. just more power.

the 20lf6's are about 50.00 apiece these days, but i have found a replacement; the 26LX6, but the bases are different. there is a mod for these tubes out there on the net but i have lost it and cant find it.
that is the main thing im trying to learn.
not typing this because you might know, but in case anyone reading does.
do you know of any other two driving five amps from that era? (mid '70's)
matt
