Under "Uniden Grant XL 8719 PLL" in the Modification List states that the AM Power pot is VR 11. This is wrong. It is VR 10.

Also, under "modulation", all it says is to clip R131. Yuk! So that a newcomer isn't misled, how about at least stating that the AMC pot is VR 7.

Also, can we get a full list there of all the VR pots and what they are for?

And under "Notes", it shows some power mods but doesn't say what they do.

Thanks.

Im4jc,

Thanks and it has been corrected.

As for the part that says Clip or Remove.
This is a personal choice if someone wants to Clip or Remove it.

I have also stated and posted 100's of time's here in the Copper Forum that I DO NOT Recommend or Suggest that ANYONE should CLIP or ALTER the Modulation circuit of ANY Radio.

As for a list of all of the VR pots and description of each sorry but I do not have the time to to add that information to the thousands of adjustments / VR pots that I already have listed.

And with well over 800 hours of typing and going thru over 30 years of notes and schematics I can only add more information as I have the free time to do so.

Note

As I have posted many times before if you or any Copper Forum Member has MORE information on Models listed or New / Different Models of any radios Not listed and they e-mail them to me I will be more than happy to add that information to the Modification List for them when I have time.

If someone e-mails me with information for the Modification List, PLEASE include in the Subject Line of their e-mail the words Modification List

And please e-mail it to me at: Tech808@copperelectronics.com from your Internet Provider (IP) e-mail address not a yahoo, hotmail, or aim e-mail only account.

Hope this helps,

Lon

Channel mod for realistic TRC-465. I just purchased a TRC-465 and would like to know what I need and have to do to put extra channels in it. It is a nice compact radio. Someone told me it has the same board as the Unide 810-E(don't know for sure). There is not much info on the net for this model. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but doesn't the TRC-465 use the UPD2824 PLL? If so, then the mods for the Cobra 146 GTL might work.
