I have a president jackson i bought used and i really like the radio and want to fix it.the problem is on sideband when people talk the speaker sounds like its blown out but on am its fine.I was reading someplace theres a mod to fix this.anyone know what the mod is or where the mod is for it cause i cant find it thanks!

freebird, i got this out of secret CB vol.21
i have not looked ahead to see if there are any typos,but you should be able to tell if the part numbers line up with whats inside your radio, and all these parts should be very close to eachother.

here's the mod:

remove C31 (.47uf 50v electrolytic)

change R43(10K) to a 1.5K
change R41(150K) to a 270K
change R47(1.5K) to a 3.9K
