I did a 2030 conversion on my 25gtl and found an extra step that helps tune up the output.
#4 Remove tuning slug form L10 and discard.
New #4 Unsolder L10 and unwrap 1 turn from coil, cut off excess, scrape off the insulation and resolder into board. Leave the slug in coil.
Now you can use L10 to tune for max forward swing.
