i want to change the channel 9 switch so it switches to channel 19...is this possible???

Yeah there is a diode on the channel selector board you can clip. There are a lot of them, and I don't know which one.

Or I hope I'm thinking of the right radio. I know you can do it to a 29.

yeah...on the 29 its d32 i just didnt wanna go snipping yet, cuz i know there are many # differances, even if the same parts apply

i think you have to move the tap from one pin to another on the pll it has been a while since i have tried this so i am a little rusty on the subject, butt if rou study the schematics from one that does not have the ch19 switch and then one that does you will see what i am talking about, i think if i remember corectly, if you only cut the diode you will only eliminate the ch 9 and open the switch for another use.
