Same as Cobra 25 I THINK. Keep in mind the freq will change but the display will still say "9"

I actually found it while googling for some mods for my cobra, I'll try to find it for you but it's really just a mouse click away :-) It entails lifting one diode. Don't remember what one, it was some time ago and many beers :-)

OK HOPEFULLY things are labled the same as inside the cobra, last I checked they were but I could be WRONG :-)

The cobra mod says cut D32, I would (did on mine) heat the joint (solder) on one side of the diode and lift one leg. This way if i'm wrong you won't hunt me down. The display will still say "9" though.

I've never understood why some CB radios have a "channel 9" or a "channel 19" switch. Why not just use the channel selector as with any other channel ?

So if you're in an emergency situation and all hopped up on adrenaline you only have to slide a two position switch instead of turn a 40 position switch.

I like switches and knobs.
