Hi,
I have a question about finals in a 10m radio I have.
A Superstar 4900b radio.
It currently has a 2SC2166 driving 2 2SC1969's.
Could the driver be changed to gain more output?
Would the 1969's handle maybe being driven by a 2SC1944?
Or can any combination be changed to gain more output?
I'll guess I need to stick with a TO-220 style case and have the same
combination of base, collector and emitter.
Just was sitting here thinking about it and how far the radio could go before
getting to total redo of circuits.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Rich
