Hi does anyone know if there is a mod to defeat the talkback on my Voyage 9000. And still keep the echo feature.
Thanks Richard

It has been awhile since I had this radio and it has a red and black wire coming off the echo switch.clip the red wire and see if this kills the talkbach.leave it to resolder if that does not do it and I will look for my notes.

Disconnect the wire located in R-189. You can cut it and tape it up, or you can make it switchable with an added switch. Everything inside of the Voyage is pretty much identical to the galaxy 88. I love mine.....

Probably a little late but I told you wrong. It is the wire going to r-244. The same as the 77 galaxy..
