i must be doing something wrong i short the 2 pins & hold the button for more than 5 sec & it stays on the 40 channels any help? |

yes sir i am & nothing but 40 channel its brand new no one was in it but still no channels |

i know im not the only one that has this problem is there something else that needs to be done to these radios to get the channels |

on my northpoint you need to hold down the power button for about 5 seconds WHILE you are hold down the #1 key.. After this the mod will work, but i need to do it each and everytime i power the radio on . |
