Anyone heard of a muscleman amp? I know it has four 2sc2290. How much watts could drive this amp and would it be stronger than my x4 sd1446 KL-500?

knew of a guy called 'muscleman' in mississippi at least 15 years ago. he built some amps & tried labeling them with more then a few different names. apparently HIS brand never took off. in real world talk-power, no difference whatsoever. depending on how it's biased, transformers, etc, it'll PROBABLY take about 4 watts to dead key 80 or so. 15 PEP input will probably get you around 325-350 out. if it's an all out copy of an AM-only amp, you can probably key as high as 110, & see around 500 PEP out.
