hey guys, just picked this thing up today. whoever had it before me put talkback in it and i hate it. there was a resistor jmuping the grounds of the pa and ext speaker i removed that, but my talkback is still there. its a cobra 29 wx nw st

talkback is usually from positive of external speaker to positive of pa, or ext. spkr to chassis ground...negative of spkr or pa shouldn't do anything...make sure there are no solder points still touching where they shouldn't be

also check back of mic for a resistor on pins 1 and 4 this also makes talk back in those radios
