Pros & Cons

Pros

Very small size that is ideal for the smaller cars and those vehicles with limited space for mounting a radio.

Very easy to read & bright Channel Display easy to see under any conditions.

Very easy to read & bright S/RF Power Meter also easy to see under any conditions.

Large control knobs compared to some other small radios that have dinky little knobs.

A real Regular Large size CA-73 Cobra Hand Mic not just one those dinky little 1/2 size hand mics like you find on other small size radios.

Very good sounding audio on Receive and Transmit with no need for an external speaker.

COOL Blue lighted face of radio and Blue lighted Mag Mount antenna that lights when you key the mic to talk.

3-1/2" Magnet and 11-1/8 tall non adjustable antenna that performs well.

This is complete package that includes everything you need to get on the air, just hook the power wires up and you are ready to talk.

CONS

The Picture that is posted above Does NOT do this radio justice as it makes the radio look like it is fuzzy and blurred.

We tried taking pictures of it but they just do not come out good with the lighted front and colors at night.

This radio LOOKS GREAT!

The blue fully lighted antenna (when keying/talking) might get you in trouble if your area has restrictions on blue lights.

While the Stock antenna that comes with the radio package performs very well for in town local use and on the highway.

If you want more coverage/range I would suggest using something like the Wilson Little Will or Wilson 1000 Mag Mount.

Review & Comments

Overall I am highly impressed and love the ease of use with this CUTE little radio as it not only looks great but also performs very well.

The radio checks I have received have been great and everyone has said it is LOUD!

I took it out for road testing and also had Lon take it out and to be 100% honest this little radio is LOUD when you hear it on the receiving end and has very clear audio.

Overall this IS one of the finest & best performing small sized radios I have used in the last 30 years.

Oh before I forget it is SOOOOOOOOO PRETTYYYYYYYY.

At night when it is on it lights the whole inside of the car up and with the bright LED display.

You will have no problems operating or seeing the Channel Display at night or in the daytime.

If you are limited on space to mount a radio and want a Great performing AM Radio, I highly recommend this radio for anyone.
