I bought this antenna from copper on Lon's advice, got it put together and up on the tower today, one word comes to mind...IMPRESSIVE.easy to put together and get matched in, very low profile antenna. From My Icom IC-V82 I can now get a repeater 20 miles away with 1/2 watt, easily get repeaters 40 miles with 4 watts and 60 miles with 7 watts.I was checking the weather band and listening to the weather coming out of the hunnington WV airport...140 miles away, just need to find a repeater there to see if I can transmit that far...all this with NO skip conditions on 2 meter.
Want a recomendation for a 2M base antenna? Waste no time in ordering the Anttron 2-MB-Plus from copper, which by the way, ordered it on friday and it was at my door monday.
