The Galaxy2517 is a great radio I had the tune up mod done and the clarifier is just what I wanted it to be! The audio reports I get are great as well as the receive from the radio. Gage

Just ordered myself a new Galaxy 2517 first new base station I've ever bought. Was very pleased with Coppers work this radio is beyond awesome. Very loud and clear on my Jo Gunn 5 Star Beams you cant go wrong with this radio, 73's and thanks a lot Copper Electronics, "22 Smoky Hills Tennessee"

Bought this radio after selling my RCI2995 because the 2517 had echo, talk back, and could use with my accessories I already have. Super modulation, once tuned, and performs well according to reports. Beware of any electrical storms though. Had a small storm about 10 miles from me knock out a final. Buy spare IRF520's. Cheap and pretty simple to replace yourself.
