Bought this little amp in January puts out nicely. Leave it to Texas Star and copper to sell a good product.

This is my first mobile amplifier. The Texas Star DX 350HDV came from Copper ready to go. I received it late December 2015 after about a week and a half. Brand new in the box. Hooked it up using Copper's heavy wiring kit. I am using this amplifier behind a new Galaxy DX959B that I also purchased from Copper Electronics. At 4 watts in, the Texas Star comes in at 165~180 watts and modulate up to 275~300 watts. I am being told that it is great sounding. I have talked 25 plus miles local, in the hills and canyon country.

This is my first mobile amplifier. I purchased it from Copper Electronics to run behind my new Galaxy DX 959B. No issues hooking it up. I used Copper's 6 gauge wire hookup kit run straight to the battery, with an inline fuse (supplied), and 10 gauge quick disconnect at the Texas Star amplifier. Additionally, I ran a ground wire from the chassis directly to body ground. With a dead key of 4 watts, the Texas Star DX 350 HDV will put out 180 ~ 200 watts, bumping up to 300 plus when modulating. This amplifier will talk. I am getting great comments back on how good it sounds. Great little amplifier. Copper Electronics has been good to do business with.

This is my first linear. I am highly impressed. this thing was so easy to operate, and install. it is small and compact but pack one heck of a punch. with a 1 watt carrier swinging to 15 pep. I am getting a 100 watt carrier swinging to around 290 - 310. I am paired up to a Galaxy DX 959B. it also has a RFX 85HD. I have all kinds of power settings and level. Just the radio, .75w to 3w carrier swinging to 15w, RFX 4w - 14w carrier swinging to 65 - 70w, texas star 100w carrier with just radio at 1w carrier swinging to 310w. The RFX 85HD is on/off switchable. Love my setup. all going through a wilson 1000 mag mount.

Works great with my power supply, but wish I had known you carry some base ones before I had placed my order online. Thanks for the base sheet with my catalog, will definitely be getting a base in the future.
