ive not done it myself, but i was very interested in trying it at one time. i love the way my 2000 sounds on SSB to mess with it. also only about a 10 watt PEP gain by doing the mod. just my opinion. if you try it, please post the results. matt anyone wanting a "clean signal", just look to the left and build one of these!!!
