Can anyone recommend a good tech that might take on this task, the radio does work it just needs some minor things done to it. Wildbill |

Hello 307! Do you know of a good mod for the 3500 NB/ANL circuit to make it more effective? |

The ANL on the 3500 can be aligned better , most that I see that come through here are way off and the ANL works a lot better after an alignment. 307 |

Right Wing, I think I'll hold onto this one, however I do know of another person that has one, I'll ask him how much he wants for it, that's if he decides to get rid of it. Wildbill |

307.... The problem i have with mine is the ANL/NB works but i still have too much noise. the RX end of the 3500 is so defined it will pick up everything. I sent it to Jeff Broughton(one of the techs i send my stuff to) up in Mason michigan and he realigned the receiver end to fact. spects but the recevier end is still too noisy. |

The 3500 has such a sensitive receive, it gets the noise also. I run my ANL and NB plus turn the RF gain back to about 3 o'clock when its noisy. Even like that it will still 'hear' better than most radios. When its quite, I run everything wide open. scrapiron |
