This is my first post, if it is in the wrong area please move it!

Used to have a 2950 in the 90's and sold it.

I want to get a new one with the 24MHZ to 32MHZ coverage.

Are the new 2950DX's as good or better than the originals?

Will they do CB channels on the display?

Are the ones sold here at copper already modded?

Can they be modded?

Does it void the warranty if you mod it.
(Speaking of Frequency mod ONLY.)

Am I better off to get an old used 2950.

Thanks, an old newb
