brand new 257 bought from copper. well it is cold up here in the northeast and i am wondering is this know or is it somthing else going on with the radio. My wife never sent in the warrenty paper work(she just forgot?)i dont use her truck much but i did today and noticed it doing that i dont know if it was just cold or what and didnt have enough time to really get the heat going. 5 dergress out here last night and has been for a while

it was just the cold brought it in to the shop and back in the truck and it is fine. will be installing a slide mount in her truck so it can be brought up stairs.

The Magnum 257`s had a problem sometime back with the volume sounding as though the volume control was turned all the way
wide open when the radio was mobile, when first turned on and had gotten very cold.
This might be related to what you noticed.
