Xlaxx, I missed this post, don't know if you found it or not, but anyway this is what the Shure book says.
Yaesu 101E to Shure 444D:
1. Shield & Black
2. White
3. Red

Somebody has been into this mic because it only has a black, white, and shield coming out of it. Cord is straight and not stock coiled mic cable. No red wire noted and a couple of rough solder joints inside,.... looks like a little more work to do to get it stock.
