Unit199,

TRUTH!

Harve, the LAST Batch of the 2SC1969 Finals was produced almost 2 years ago now.

They have since been Discontinued.

BUT NOT TO WORRY!

There is finally a Replacement that is Higher Powered than the old 2SC1969s called the ERF2030.

MAGNUM International will be the FIRST Radio Manufacturer to use these Finals in the MAGNUM LINE of radios.

The Replacement mentioned above is also over 2 years old and also in Short Supply.

Out of the last batch of the EXACT Replacements I ordered 11 of the 20 did not meet Factory Specs for the 2SC1969.

Thanks Lon, I'm glad to hear that Sam is involved. Now I have another excuse to talk to him, because I really enjoy it.

Bigbob,

As far as I know there are still plenty of the 2SC2312C finals around.

They should be around $6.50.

the 2SC2312 is also out of production as of a few years ago.

we have to be careful when buying them and the 1969's because there are A LOT of fakes around.
pretty much all of the places you see on the net advertising them are the bogus ones.
like lon said after testing them, only a few were up to specs.
cant wait to see the more powerful replacement.

the new radios are using mosfets nowadays.
i have heard rumors about some more 1969's being manufactured though.
