Which one has the loudest modulation, the 2527 or the high powered 95T? Also, which has the best frequency coverage after modification? I'm thinking the 95T has more coverage.... mikefromms |

Mikefromms, Sorry, I can't help you here as I have never used either one of them. And it might be hard to find many who have owned and used both radios since 1 is a Base radio and the other is a Mobile radio. And since the 2517 is a Low Power radio and the 95T is a High Power radio I just don't think a comparison would really be fair. Below are links to both that might help, so you can compare the features of both for yourself. 2517 95T Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

I have the 95T now and had a 2517. Really an unfair question on my part. Both are very loud, but the 95T has about 4 times as much power. mikefromms |

95T can be turned down to run similar watts as the 2517 |

They're just as loud,BUT the 95t will drown out the interference on the frec.at about 10 miles and closer, then it becomes the only radio on,hehe.Bigbob p.s. like my dx2517 and boomer 400 combo. |

DX431, I talked with KB today in Echo Link and he says he has the 2517 and a 93T not the 95T so guess he is not much help on the Question of "Which is louder the 2517 or the 95T?" Sorry, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

Mikefromms, The Galaxy 2527 will cover from 26.000 thru 32.000MHz after Conversion. The Galaxy 95T will cover from 25.165 thru 28.755 after Conversion. So I guess it is a toss up, depending on if you want more higher or lower band coverage. As for "loudest modulation" between the two radio's, again I can't say or know of anyone who owns both the 2547 and 95T. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

Lon, you're right, KB has the 93T. NOT the 95T. |
