I know this is strange but i bought a cobra 2000 and the guy converted the mic jack to a 4 pin jack.I was using an astaic echomax 2000 on the radio and it worked just fine.but i am trying to wire a d 104 silver eagle and i can't get it to work for some reason.I can get it to transmit and recevive but not at the same time.Does anyone know how i can wire this silver eagle to a 4 pin cobra 2000 and make it work?thanks

My silver eagle is wired for 4 pin Cobra in this manner:
Pin 1- shield and blue
Pin 2- white
Pin 3- red
Pin 4- black
If your 2000 is indeed wired 4 pin Cobra, the blue switching wire has to go on pin 1 along with the shield. And of course the yellow wire has no connection.
Hope this is what you are looking for.

I think before your question can be properly answered you need to tell us how the 2000 is converted to 4 pin.
