My buddy brought home a PC 76 last night that does about one watt and when modulated back swings to 1/2 watt, doesnt look like anyone has messed with the inside at all so I am wondering what would this be? Bad driver and final? Any other ideas?

Looked more into this problem today and found that R-55 next to the final is burnt, I replaced it and it burnt almost instanly, what would cause this!?!
