I woke up at 7am this morning nervous as could be.
The sky outside was dark a bit on the cool side and a light rain was coming down.
But as cool as it was I was burning up inside from being so nervous as at 9am I was sitting amoung 8-10 others taking my Ham test.
Then as I turned in my paperwork with all my answers It took me like 10 minutes to get the feeling back in my legs to do so.
I was standing in line behind another guy as the VE's were grading his test, (poor guy failed but was given a 2nd chance)I felt as I was going to pass out for being so nervous.
Well now it was my turn to be graded.
And I PASSED!!!!!!!!
Missed 3 questions

Now to just wait and keep checking QRZ.com under New Hams for my call sign.
Once I see My Call Sign then it's look out EchoLink here I come!!!!

Till next time

Thanks everyone, but for now all I have is a 10,11 and 12 meter radio but not high enough for the 10m net (28.360 usb)but soon I like to get a multiband radio so I can.
My galaxy 88 mobile did get 28.360 usb but that died on me about 3-4 weeks ago....not going to fix it, it's to old

But again thanks everyone for your kind words.

Also Today is the xyl and mind 11th Wedding Annivesary.

So today has been a very special day for me all around..

Till next time

Thanks again everyone

Wildrat, I went to qrz.com and took the
QRZ's Practice Amateur Radio Exams
http://www.qrz.com/testing.html

I took 4 test a day
2 in the morning
2 in the evening

I did this for a month

I was going to go to the hamfest in sarasota (the one you went to on your bike)and take the test there back on the 3rd.

didn't make it do to Dixie having foot surgery.

So I waited till the 17th when they had it in Winter Haven at the American Red Cross.

So just go to the site and keep taking the tests till you are doing 70% or better each time your taking them and then find a site thats giving the test in your area and you will be find after the nervous past wares off.

Till next time

Congrats Starface ! Welcome to amateur radio. Do your self a favor and find an elmer. Like Bruce said the 146.64 n9ee repeater is a good repeater to start on. There's alot of people to talk to on it. BTW Bruce..Did you happen to attend their last field day?
