need lots more details to answer the question freebird.
give up the info.

radio output, antenna system, how and where is the amp mounted, where is the power and ground run from and to?

what kind of vehicle?

all that stuff is needed to figure out what happened.
also how long its been in service and last time any mods or changes were made.
later,
matt

freebird, you should only have about 2 watts am carrier to drive that amp. I once used a kl 500 with multiple internal fuses that blew frequently, I used solder to eliminate
the internal fuses, and added a 15 amp inline fuse, and problem solved!

Are the fuses in line with your power wires going back to the battery?
