I have a problem with my amp, it will not show any
power output, fuses checked o.k., there isn't any burnt resistors on the finals, there isn't any visible loose connections, no burnt smell, however
when it's hooked up and keyed the relay engages but no power output. Watt Meter is okay also, radio is putting out proper wattage. There are no other visible signs of any bad diodes and resistors. Any ideas of what may be wrong?

did you check the 2290 driver circuit? if so, and it -seems- to be fine as does the rest of the amp, it could be that the power switch is faulty. after the input rf closes and passes through the relay, it then passes through the 'power' switch. if you are comfortable with rf/electronic troubleshooting, you could jumper the switch(has to be done on correct pins) to see if that is the problem or not.

one other question, is this an amp that -was- working properly at one time? if it never has worked properly, it could be that this cw transmitter was not converted over to an amplifier properly.
