is there a way to put the preamp on its own switch?? i talk alot of ssb an when i used it there is a guy who is about 15 miles away from me an when i had the amp on he was all broken up an shut the amp off he was clear as day.. any info would be great...thnxs

Cut the base of transistor TR3 and add a switch. With the switch open, this will keep the pre-amp off while the RF amp is still functional. With the switch on, the pre-amp is on. |
