Freebird,

I just got off the phone with the Forummaster and he does not ever remember any Amplifier with the Name CE 550 on it.

What is the Name printed on the Front of the Amplifier?

If it has a Yellow CE on a label on the back that is a Information label, Not the name of the Amplifier.

Some KLV Amplifier's have these yellow labels on the rear like my KLV1000.

well there are 2 yellow tags on the back that say CE it.The amp does have the silver tags on it the copper puts on them.it looks just like the klv to me but it doesnt say klv on it.It says CE on the front to the left of the plus on the built in power supply. And to the right of the built in watt meter it says Station 550.Does this sound like its the Klv 550?Im not sure since i bought it used.thanks!

Freebird,

Ok, what you have IS an early model of the KLV550.

I have one of the First Manual's for it here and it should also have Red Len's that says RM On Air when transmitting also.

Now we have it cleared up sorry for the delay and yes it probably is from Copper.

And the guy is telling the truth.

I just checked your right it does say RM on air when transmitting.going by the built in meter it only seemd to do about 300 watts on side band not 600,but im not sure if the built in meter is accurate.
