I have a three button Uniden Washington that I can't get the SSB right on.
385AG board (and 8719) and using Defpoms site can't make VR3 change anything (and is not correct) on HP counter. Is this really a 3k VR? Does it get cut out if the clairifer was modded? (just had a brain storm)
Second step with CT 1,2,3 all work ok and I go back everything looks good except VR3 frequency.
(AM is great but can't get the transmit and receive to line up on SSB.)Clarifier does shift on transmit but receive and transmit are off each other.
I'd like to get a factory service manual or full alignment procedures but can't seem to find them... is this EXACTLY the same as 142? Perhaps a Sams exists?

Last item, R104 is gone..I'd like to replace it and try the parallel w/R105 instead but don't know the value of the missing 104.
Thanks and hope you had a great Easter!!

Ind224,
Sams cb-222 covers the 8719 washington.r-104 is a 10K ohm,1/4 watt device.replace it and change r-105 to a 500 ohm,1/4 watt for better results.
with freq counter on tp-1,lsb mode,in xmit adjust vr-3 to read 34.9825 mhz on the counter.yes vr-3 is a 3k ohm unit
